Introduction
This scheme was started in the year 2000 by the government of india. The main purpose of the scheme is to provide food security to people who are below poverty line like poorest of the poor. According to the survey around 20 to 30% of the population in india are suffering with lack of food availability and also the cost of securing food is very high. To avoid such a situation the Government of India (NDA) launched the scheme.
Under the scheme improper survey list of state districts and urban and rural locations will be conducted by a separate department to get complete information about the poorest of the poor and based on the survey report the population he will be applied in specific manner to secure their daily food needs.
From the day it is started, 10,00,0000 population are identified as the poorest of the poor and father’s population under the scheme the food security will be given by the central government. The computer scheme initiative and run purely by central government official where state government involvement in the scheme is nominal. Under the skin, very subsidized amount will be taken for providing the rice or wheat.

For only rupees 3 the population of below poverty line will get the rice or wheat with a quantity of 25 kgs per month. This game is running very successfully since from the day it start. Every time 50 lakh population are added to the scheme and all the members are getting subsidized food on monthly basis.
